Homelessness in America is an epidemic for men, woman, and children who struggle to survive day to day.  On any given night, there are over 500,000 homeless people in the U.S.

Homeless individuals in developed countries suffer from specific diseases.  The most common are ulcers, bacterial infections, pitted keratolysis, and gangrene.

SLightly more than 48% of the homeless populations do not have access to comfortable shoes to protect their feet from adverse weather conditions or disease.
